HC Plant Operations Crew Members contribute to the operational needs of Council by undertaking construction and maintenance of Council roads and infrastructure across all of Hilltops. In this role you will be predominately driving heavy articulated trucks (HC – either floats or trucks & dogs) and operating other heavy plant and machinery, generally from our Young depot.
This role is ideal for knowledgeable, competent HC drivers with experience in generalist heavy plant operation (e.g. backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders), and those with more specialised plant experience such as grader operations.
As this role may also provide support by undertaking skilled labouring duties and working overtime/after-hours work, you will have good physical fitness and be willing to participate in an on-call roster (allowance provided per Award).
