Hyden Aquatic Centre Manager Position (Seasonal)

The Shire of Kondinin is seeking a suitably skilled person to manage the Hyden Aquatic Centre on a 3-5 year contract (with option for renewal).

The Hyden Aquatic Centre Manager is required for 6 months with the Centre being open from November to March with several weeks before and after for preparation and pool closure. Opening times are currently from 11am to 6pm and we would like an option for early morning lap swimming to be considered.

The facility boasts:

• 25-metre lap pool,
• Toddlers and babies pools,
• Dive pool boasting a 1 springboard and possible 3 meter tower (being investigated)
• Cricket and basketball area
• Large grassed areas (well-shaded)
• A kiosk serving hot and cold food & beverages
• Swimming Club
• Vacation Swimming lessons (VACSWIM)
• Wheel Chair access to toddlers' pool
• Great venue for kids' birthdays or club events

The contractor is to maintain the full facility including lawns, gardens, water quality and kiosk (optional). This facility is currently a sole manager pool.
