As the successful incumbent you will provide timely and effective support to the legal team, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, undertaking administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders, compliance and regulatory assistance and assisting with case management The role’s key duties and responsibilities include: Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support advice preparation. Assist with the drafting and proofreading of legal documents. Manage and respond to subpoenas and records requests including coordinating responses with other business units. Assist with management of Anglicare non-clinical policies and procedures. Assist having documents executed under Power of Attorney. Assist in case management activities, including organising and maintaining documentation. Communicate with stakeholders to gather information and provide updates. Review and summarise legal documents, cases and legislative changes. Assist with document management, including electronic filing of documents. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to legal practice areas. Assist with meeting ongoing governance and compliance obligations. Your qualifications and experience should include a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Studies or working towards completion of a Bachelor of Laws (third or penultimate year preferred). Also proven experience as a paralegal, legal assistant/administrator (minimum 1 year preferred). Why Join Anglicare?
