"Livable Leeton"

Leeton Shire is a very desirable place to live, work and raise a family. High quality schools, natural assets, cultural and sporting facilities as well as growth and diversification in agribusiness will underpin Leeton’s continued economic growth.

From its initial focus on rice production, Leeton has diversified to become a significant exporter of cotton, grains, wine, nuts and quality beef. It truly is the manufacturing hub of the Western Riverina region.

Long promoted as a place for new immigrants to settle and build a new life in Australia, “Livable Leeton” also aims to extend and promote this history and reputation to attract a new wave of residents to Leeton.
