Full-Time, 12 Month Traineeship – Based in Blackall

Certificate III on completion.

Council is seeking an enthusiastic applicant with a can-do attitude to join our Admin team in Blackall as a Customer & Council Support Officer Trainee.

This position is a 12-month Traineeship. You will be working across a broad range of administrative areas that include:

  • Customer Service and Administration at the Council Chambers in Blackall;
  • Providing a professional and courteous front-line service that will maximise customers’ experience;
  • Assisting with administrative support to Council for projects, events, venue and equipment hire, event data entry and reporting.
  • We are looking to appoint a Trainee with the following qualities;
  • Capacity to show initiative & apply new concepts
  • Open minded, approachable & helpful
  • Friendly, good humoured person that enables good relationships
  • Experience with or willing to lean Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to follow Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • ‘CA’ Class Drivers Licence
