About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Amenities Cleaner to join our Building Construction and Maintenance section on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will assist in providing a high level of cleaning and amenity services to our sporting facilities and public toilets.

An ideal candidate will have effective communication with both staff and the public, provide recommendations for improvement and maintenance, and ensure the presentation of clean, tidy, and well-maintained amenities.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

• Extensive experience in the maintenance and cleaning of amenities and public toilets
• Current class 'C' driver's licence.

Desirable:

• First Aid Certificate
• Certificate of attainment from TAFE in Cleaning Supervision or equivalent.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

• Entry level for this position starts at $1,156.81 per week
• 38-hour working week
• Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
• Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
