About the role We are seeking a values-driven Concierge to manage the reception area and provide administrative support to the Corps. Reporting to the Corps Leader, this is a 12-month max-term part time role, located in Parramatta, NSW. You will successfully Manage the front desk, respond to general enquiries and undertake general administrative tasks. Provide basic assessment of community members needs and access to appropriate assistance outside of emergency relief/connect site hours. Make appropriate referrals and network with suitable services (relevant community services or pastoral assistance in particular) when needed. Accept monetary donations and receipts provided; follow donation protocols including appropriate handling of food donations. Act as primary contact for Community Partnerships such as Foodbank, Secondbite coordinate the donations. Assist with Venue Hire setting up/packing down spaces, directing groups, assisting with group enquiries. You will have Experience: At least 1-year previous experience in community services or reception. Qualifications in administration/reception (highly regarded). Cert III Community Services qualification (highly regarded). An understanding of and willingness to work in line with the Trauma Informed Care Principles. A working knowledge of MS Office and a moderate level of computer literacy. A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check. NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
