Casual Female Disability Support Worker – Broadmeadows

Are you a compassionate, resilient, and experienced FEMALE Disability Support Worker looking to make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated support worker to assist a client with complex needs in the Broadmeadows area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in hoist use, Sara Steady, and manual handling techniques.
  • Confident and experienced in safe medication administration.
  • Skilled in meal planning, cooking client-specific meals, laundry, ironing, mopping, and general home duties.
    Preference for candidates who have experience in independently managing a household.
  • Client Engagement - Outgoing, friendly personality with experience engaging clients in meaningful activities and community participation.
  • Ability to follow Behaviour Support Plans and remain calm and proactive when navigating challenging behaviours related to the client’s illness.
Shifts - 2x Casual Roles
(Set roster, MUST be available for all the shifts on chosen position):

Position 1
Week 1
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00am to 11:00am
  • Friday: 6:00pm to 10:00am (Sleepover shift in between from 10:00pm to 6:00am)
  • Sunday: 6:00pm to 9:00am (Sleepover shift in between from 10:00pm to 6:00am)
Week 2
  • Wednesday & Friday: 7:00am to 11:00am
  • Saturday: 6:00pm to 10:00am (Sleepover shift in between from 10:00pm to 6:00am)

  • Friday: 7:00am to 11:00am
  • Saturday: 6:00pm to 10:00am (Sleepover shift in between from 10:00pm to 6:00am)
Week 2
  • Tuesday: 1:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00pm to 10:00am (Sleepover shift in between from 10:00pm to 6:00am)
  • Sunday: 6:00pm to 9:00am (Sleepover shift in between from 10:00pm to 6:00am)

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals with BOC
  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability or similar
  • Valid First Aid & CPR,
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, patient approach
