We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to provide essential administrative and HR support as our team transitions to a business partnering model. If you have a strong understanding of HR practices and enjoy working in an administrative capacity, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support on policies, procedures, and award interpretation.
  • Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including records management, HR correspondence, and meeting/event coordination.
  • Implement HR processes related to staff movements, leave, injury management, and more.
  • Prepare employment contracts, secondments, and assist with annual reviews.
  • Lead the casual conversion process and update job descriptions as required.
  • Manage the HR Advisor inbox, respond to queries, and escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner team to support employee excellence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, industrial relations, and privacy legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Experience in Aged Care, health, or a similar industry.
