Our Family Support Workers provide families in crisis with support to implement case plans that promote the best interests of children, ensure their safety and appropriate development Why this role matters The Salvation Army Australia’s Family Violence Stream provides a wide range of services around the country to support women and women with children impacted by family and domestic violence. We offer refuge, children’s and parenting services, counselling, support, men’s programs, accommodation and advice to women and children who are experiencing, or who have experienced, family violence. About the role The Support Worker provides effective day to day operations to the Family Violence programs based across The Northern Territory. This role is to support women and their children experiencing or at risk of family and domestic violence to implement client led case plans that promote their safety and wellbeing, referring complex matters to more senior staff. This is a permanent full-time role located in Greater Darwin Area. Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS award level 4.
