Full-Time (35 hours per week) – Fixed-term contract (2 years)
The role:
Council is seeking an individual with a passion to peruse a career in Health and Safety. This role will (with the support and mentoring from our inclusive team of professionals) assist in daily tasks associated with monitoring and implementing WHS Councils policies, procedures and processes to ensure ongoing compliance, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. We will teach you everything you need to know to launch your career in the Health and Safety field. The trainee will undertake diploma level training in Work, Health and Safety and complete an Introduction to Return to Work Coordination Course.
What we need from you:

You will have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and work as part of a team. Well-developed written literacy and numeracy skills as well as a positive and dedicated attitude, with the ability to think for yourself and display initiative is key to be successful in this role.
