We currently hold a new opportunity within the Community Virtual and in home team for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Casual basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times. In this role, you will provide a high level of nursing services for our Hospital in the Home clients and the community clients on Home Care Packages. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Providing hands-on care to clients as part of the multidisciplinary care team; Assisting with the implementation of best practice nursing policies and procedure; Hygiene & Continence Cares Clinical assessment of clients; Documenting and reporting any change in clients’ statuses; Having a working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations/legislation. Wound Care IDC/SPC care Medication administration and education including use of Syringe Drivers Palliative Care Training and education to Clients and extended Care team Things that work for us: Advanced clinical experience. A current AHPRA registration. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Valid Queensland Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle with Comprehensive car insurance Experience in inspiring other staff & leadership qualities. Great communication, time management and excellent customer service skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Experience in Aged Care and or Community Nurse will be highly regarded. National Police Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
