We have a fantastic opportunity become available for an experienced Senior Manager Clinical Services. This is a permanent full-time position.  Reporting to the Executive Manager Clinical Governance and Operational Excellence, this is an important senior role responsible for the review and development of better practice clinical standards and processes aligned with our Clinical Governance framework.  It involves identifying organisational clinical priorities, embedding Aged Care Quality Standards focussing on best practice for older people together with leading clinical education across both community and residential services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency with a minimum of 5 years post registration
  • Knowledge of legislation appropriate to the delivery of aged care services
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in contemporary nursing practice, with a focus on older people.
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical documentation relevant to aged care
  • A skilled people leader with strengths in coaching, development, building resilience and team alignment.
  • Advanced ability to analyse data, and use technology and software systems
  • Advanced skills in incident analysis and report writing
