Do you want to have a positive impact on people’s lives in the community?  Care Connect are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office team on a maximum term contract to 30thNovember 2025. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting Care Connect to deliver a number of strategic projects, including leading the implementation of a new payroll system.

About the role…

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end implementation of the payroll system, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases. The role will sit within the Project Management Office with direct line management to the PMO Manager, and will have the ability to adapt to the methods of analysis and project delivery required for the project. They will also provide support for other change initiatives.

The incumbent will use their strong organisational, leadership and communication skills to successfully deliver the projects on time, within scope and budget.

About You

An experienced & qualified Project Manager with experience in the Healthcare or Aged Care sector - you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of project management to plan, execute and monitor progress. You will bring Project Management experience in payroll system implementation and have a solid understanding of the principles and practices that will help you navigate resistance, mitigate risks and drive successful change across the organisation.

Your enthusiastic and collaborative approach, along with expertise in relationship and stakeholder management will help you make a success of this role. You will also have advanced skills in a range of business systems and technologies, be able to adapt easily to new technologies and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 5+ years in Project Manager and Change Management roles: experience in the Healthcare or Aged Care sector is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll system implementation is an essential requirement
  • Extensive program and project delivery experience 
  • Extensive process reengineering and review experience 
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office suite and other systems such as Visio or Gliffy 
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related area
  • Project management methodologies and certifications – PMBOK / PRINCE / AGILE 

To be considered for this role you must have full Australian working rights, Current Police & Working With Children Checks – we can arrange police checks for successful candidates. Our selection process also includes psychometric assessment.
